Esther Price was born in Lincoln, June 1969.

She works from her studio in Barnstaple, North Devon where she lives with her husband, 3 sons and her dog, Mahler.

Her love affair with the North Devon coastline began, when as a child, she spent many family holidays staying at 'Steart Farm Campsite', Bucks Mills.

The rugged beauty of this area and the stunning beaches further round the coast towards Saunton and Croyde influence her work greatly.

Esther has the ability to encapsulate light and form through her use of oils and other mediums, which result in different textures. This is an aspect of her work that is unusual and creates something which is very special and unique.

Esther enjoys walking the local beaches and spending time in her garden, which has also been an inspiration for various paintings

Some of Esther's work can be purchased at The Appledore Gallery, Bude Street, Appledore, North Devon and she also undertakes commission work.
